Adding a License Assignee to Your Order

When you purchase a font license from Fontspring, a crucial option during the checkout process is the ability to assign the license rights to another person or organization formally.

  • This is known as the License Assignee, and it is particularly useful when you are buying a font on behalf of a client or a third party.

  • In this scenario, you remain our customer who handled the purchase, but the License Assignee is the entity that legally holds and controls the license rights.

How to Add an Assignee

You may only assign the rights to one party per order. To add a License Assignee:

  1. During checkout, look for the option to Edit license assignee.

  2. Click the button and enter the complete information for the person or organization in the pop-up window.
